Olwyn Keogh MBE is "Lancashire's Woman of the Year" 2006
Wednesday the 27th of September was an auspicious day for Olwyn Keogh, Chief
Executive Director of the "Friends of Chernobyl's Children" charity. Her tireless work over the past
twelve years was recognised and honoured when she was officially made Lancashire's "Woman of
the Year 2006".
During a luncheon reception Olwyn received the honour from BARNARDOS CHILDREN'S CHARITY, one of the largest
charities in the country, after she had been nominated by people who had expressed their feelings
